I have gone almost an entire week with zero alcohol units. Considering the fact that I have said that I would start this a few months ago, I suppose I'm not progressing with particular speed... *I pat myself nonetheless.
At first, I was going to laugh at you...laugh at you HARD. but that was before I realized that you wrote this before moving to Barrie to detox...or rather, abstain from alcohol because you had no choice as a result of laziness - sloth :P and yes, i have taken note that you do not go out anymore...so, can't go out without drinking hMM???
Remember, there's a better way. Die with dignity and you can experience the euphoria of starving and being dehydrated at the same time. I can help. But, only if you were awarded a multi-million dollar malpractice judgement and you're willing to take me on as your legal guardian. Everyone deserves the right to die with dignity...whether they like it or not.

Melrose says: I congratulate you, of course. Good old diet coke and extra lime come in handy.
The last time I had alcohol units I called you at 4 a.m.
Yeah, I am such a class act.
lol ... i have gone almost 20 hrs w/out any alcohol units ... although, i never made any claim to try to 'quit'. (realist here ... i like my booze)

Dry Daze ended last weekend... when much rum was consumed... but I haven't had anything to drink since then either... so now it is once again Day #6.
Sorry to hear about your 6-day dry lulls...you'll get over it soon, just as the doctor prescribed.
cheers!
